As California’s longest-serving senator, Dianne broke barriers and blazed a trail for women. Her career was, by any standards, historic. Dianne and I worked together many times on important issues affecting our state – including passing the most significant California water bill in 25 years. She truly cared about Californians and sought to find common ground to advance the interests of the Golden State.
